An important point to note here is that the alert must be sent from the area of the eRoom the information has been added. This is to ensure the link is correct and subsequently saves time.
If an alert is sent from a different place in the eRoom, the alert will still warn the recipient of new information, however the link will take them to the wrong place in the eRoom. The recipient will then have to search for the new information through a number of screens.
