Online client lists and Self Assessment
There has been a problem over the Christmas period with the Government Gateway/HMRC website interface and the SA system that is causing a delay in the update of client lists. This is being addressed as a priority and we expect it to be resolved this week. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused. A small number of agents are affected.
You will see whether your clients are affected if they do not appear on the client list on the HMRC portal or the Government Gateway. If your client appears on the Government Gateway but not the HMRC portal you can still file SA returns online. If a particular client is missing from either list, please contact the Online Services Helpdesk 0845 6055999.
