Q. If I send a trust deed could you let me know what sort of trust it is?

A. No. The HM Revenue & Customs no longer gives rulings on the treatment of trusts. Trustees must self assess on the basis of their interpretation of the deed. If they need to check this interpretation they should seek legal advice.
