Q. I have made some mistakes on my return, what do I do?

A. If it is within the 12-month period to make an amendment to an SA return, forward your revision in writing. Quote the appropriate box number.

If it is after the 12-month period

• If there is more tax to pay, make a disclosure. We will raise an assessment.
• If there is less tax to pay, consider making a claim for Error and Mistake Relief.
