Q. How do I return trust management expenses?

A. If you have an absolute entitlement to the net income after trust management expenses, show the net income on your return.

If you are the settlor, and have retained an interest in the trust, the expenses are not deductible. There are details of how to return the trust management expenses in help sheet HS270.
