f you want the Inland Revenue to calculate your tax and let you know how much to pay by 31 January you need to get the completed return back by 30 September. For returns received after 30 September we cannot guarantee to let you know the amount of tax to pay in time. If the return was issued after 6 April the fixed filing date is 31 January or 3 months after the date of issue, whichever is the later.
