There will be no August 2011 edition of the Trusts and Estates
newsletter for solicitors and agents. The next one will be
published in December 2011.
Tax pool calculator
The tax pool calculator has been updated to include the new
tax year from 6 April 2011. It can be used for all tax years
from 6 April 2008 to work out a discretionary trust's available
tax pool.
Trust management expenses - revised
guidance
Revised guidance has been published on trust management expenses
in the Trusts, Settlements and Estates Manual.
Changes to the Trust &
Estate Tax Return for 2010-11
Guidance outlining the main changes to the return and supporting
notes has been published.
