Qualifying Time Deposits (QTD) - New rules for QTD accounts opened from 6 April 2012

The Government announced at Budget 2011 that interest from QTD accounts opened from 6 April 2012 would fall within the tax deduction at source rules of the TDSI scheme. It also announced that it will consult informally on the implementation of this change. Links to the announcements are at:
