8.00 am - 5.00 pm Monday to Friday

The Registration Helpline staff will help you

• decide whether you can register your account so interest is paid without tax taken off
• complete the form R85 'Getting your interest without tax taken off'.

If you don’t have a tax office, but you believe you can claim back some or all of the tax taken off your bank or building society interest please ring our Leicester & Northants Claims Office on 0845 366 7850.

The Helpline numbers are only for enquiries about bank and building society interest. If you want help on any other tax matter, please contact your HMRC office or HM Revenue & Customs Enquiry Centre - details can be found in the phone book under 'HM Revenue & Customs'.
