A second Protocol to the Double Taxation Agreement between the UK and Singapore was signed in Singapore on 15 February 2012 by Lord Green of Hurstpierpoint, Minister of State for Trade and Investment and Mrs Josephine Teo, Minister of State for Finance & Transport.
This Protocol updates the existing Double Taxation Agreement of 1997 and follows on from the previous Protocol inserting the latest exchange of information article signed in 2009.
The text of the Protocol is available on the HM Revenue & Customs website, and will be published by the Stationery Office as soon as it is presented to Parliament for approval.

The Protocol enters into force once both countries have completed their legislative procedures.
