Real Time Information (RTI) - what it means for employers

HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) are planning a series of face-to-face sessions across the country to give employers the chance to ask experts about Real Time Information.

From 6 April 2013 employers will have to start reporting PAYE information to HMRC in real time. You may have seen this referred to as Real Time Information - or RTI.

This means that employers (or their accountant, bookkeeper or payroll bureau) will have to:

  • send details to HMRC every time they pay an employee, at the time they pay them
  • use payroll software to send this information electronically as part of their routine payroll process

In order to support and help employers get ready for reporting PAYE in real time, HMRC are running events nationally where employers will have the chance to learn a bit more about RTI and what it means for them. These informal events are friendly and relaxed in style and have proven very popular with employers.

This is a chance for you to meet our team of experienced tax advisers, listen to latest news on RTI and ask any questions you may have.

We are running several sessions in each of the locations below at various dates and times throughout April and May. Please call 0845 603 2691 to reserve a place on a session at a date and time that suits you. Alternatively, you can book on some sessions using the online booking tool - these sessions are highlighted below. Just click on the location to book.
