The UK technical Interface Specifications (TIS) have been produced following consultations with certain key trade stakeholders involved in International Trade. They set out the messages that need to be exchanged between the trade and HM revenue & Customs (HMRC) since Import Control System (ICS) became mandatory on 1 January 2011.
