SDRT Overview

The SDRT Operations office in Birmingham (Office Details) is a Customer Service section which deals in 4 main areas-:

• SDRT Repayments, which deals primarily with transactions which, have been paid/input incorrectly via the CREST system.
  
• Off Market Payments, which deals with payments liable to SDRT, but have not been input through CREST, or have been input incorrectly through CREST.
  
• Assurance Team, who are responsible for regulating our customers via Audit visits to Financial Institutions.
  
• Unit Trusts, who are responsible for the collection of Unit Trust payments (See-: Unit Trusts), as well as the regulating and enabling of Financial Institutions dealing in Unit Trusts and OEICS.
  The office also has a Technical compliance team, who work closely with all the above areas, giving them technical advice, as well as helpful advice to our customers.
