A new version of the SDLT6 guidance notes will be released on 2 July 2012. The new guidance will provide SDLT customers and agents with targeted help and advice for completing SDLT returns. The new guidance notes have been streamlined and contain improved and updated information, presented in a more user friendly format.
The current paper version of the SDLT6 guidance notes will be withdrawn
on 2 July 2012. You won’t be able to order paper versions of the
guidance notes after this date. The new version will be available
in PDF format
which you will be able to access from the Stamp Taxes SDLT homepage.
You will be able to print your own copy if you wish to. The new guidance
notes
will be maintained and updated through regular reviews carried out
by Stamp Taxes.
