Consultation on SDLT related issues

HM Treasury are currently consulting on two SDLT related issues.

They are looking at the practicalities of introducing a charge on the use of special purpose vehicles on high value residential property and are also consulting on possibly extending the SDLT disclosure rules for avoidance schemes to residential property. HMRC have already advised stakeholder groups of this consultation.
