Stamp Taxes Online – No more paper certificates

Since 1 November 2006, online filers have received electronic SDLT5 certificates, (acceptable to all land registries) and were also sent a paper certificate by post. From 4th August 2007, we will stop issuing the paper SDLT5 certificate for all online submissions.

This makes it even more important to safely store your successful submission receipt/electronic SDLT5 once you have viewed it. It can then be printed off at any time, to send to the Land Registers along with the appropriate documents.
