‘Same day’ stamping

Birmingham Stamp Office is now responsible for the same day stamping service previously provided in London. Customers who must have documents stamped urgently (for example Stock Transfer forms for critical share deals, which cannot be structured to avoid this requirement) can do this by special arrangement. Customers must:

• contact us first, to request the service:
• submit documents in advance of the transactions taking place:
• deliver the documents to Birmingham for stamping: and
• take them away again. Customers can wait to collect the documents should they choose (stamping normally takes about 10 minutes), or alternatively can arrange a convenient subsequent time for collection.
