Edinburgh Stamp Office is moving

The move is good news. It means that Edinburgh Stamp Office will be co-located with Registers of Scotland, who are already based in Erskine House.

Please note that the stamping presses will be moved in advance and so it may not be possible for all documents to be stamped between Monday 8 December and Friday 12 December.
The Counter Service for Stamp Duty Land Tax (SDLT) urgent requests for manual certificates will be available during this period.
We hope that co-location with Registers of Scotland will make life easier for all our customers in future.
