2D Barcode Decommissioning

Since we stopped issuing the HMRC CD-ROM and began returning any 2D barcoded forms that fail scanning, many customers have taken the opportunity to switch to electronic filing. Online take-up has risen to 46 per cent - whilst submission of CD-Rom and bar-coded returns has dropped by 6 per cent.

We are encouraging all our customers to reap the benefits of this faster, more efficient service.
