HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) has created some new forms to help business customers register new partnerships and partners for Self Assessment. Registration for Class 2 National Insurance contributions (NICs), if needed, is also covered by the new forms.
HMRC worked in partnership with agent representatives from Working Together’s Agent Registration and Authorisation working group to develop these forms. They have been available on a trial basis to tax agents and advisers since October 2010. This period has allowed HMRC to take on board feedback from agents using the forms. They are now available for everyone.
