HMRC has been working with our counterparts in the Irish Revenue to arrange a joint solution to the search for a new fiscal marker for rebated fuel. A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the two revenue authorities was recently signed to confirm our joint commitment to reducing fuel fraud.
The two revenue authorities have also published a document that will invite submissions from companies, aimed at finding a replacement for their current main fiscal markers, and will also contain the full project timetable.
