Survey of Financial Services Industry 2007

HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) is conducting an important research study of the Financial Service Industry (FSI) throughout the UK. The purpose of this survey is to better understand the FSI's involvement in pension provision. We have commissioned an independent research organisation, BMRB Social Research, to carry out this study on our behalf.

Respondents selected for the research will receive a letter confirming their selection and inviting them to participate in the survey. If you or your organisation is contacted then we do hope that you will be able to take part in the research.

We are aware that you may need to look up or collect some information before the interviewer calls. Enclosed with the letter is a data sheet to help you prepare in advance some of the details the interviewer will ask for when they call. We would be grateful if you could complete this sheet prior to the interviewer calling. Extra copies of the data sheet can be downloaded here at the link below:

Please do not complete the datasheet unless you have received a letter inviting you to participate in the research. Please do not return this data sheet to us, as you will need to refer to it during the interview.

You do not have to participate in the research if you do not want to. Your letter provides details of what to do if you do not want to take part.

All information given in the survey will be treated in the strictest confidence by BMRB Social Research. No information identifying you or your company will be passed to HMRC or any other organisation without your consent.

We hope that if you have been selected to participate in the research that you will take part and we would like to thank you in advance for your help.
