Statutory Instrument 1311 The Pension Schemes (Reduction
in Pension Rates) (Amendment) Regulations 2009 and Explanatory Memorandum
This has been laid before Parliament. An Explanatory Memorandum has also been
published. The purpose of the Statutory Instrument is to remove unintended
tax charges where there is a reduction to pensions paid to certain members
during the winding up of a pension scheme.
