Giving money and property to your children and grandchildren
If you want to give money or property to your children or grandchildren you may be able to make use of Inheritance Tax exemptions so that no tax is payable on the gifts.
Your grandchildren won't pay any Income Tax on interest on their savings as long as their income is below their personal tax-free allowance.
