Expenses and Benefits: have you filed forms P11D, P11D(b) and P9D yet?
Your 2008-09 forms P11D, P11D(b) and P9D are due 6 July, but you can send them as soon as they are ready. Otherwise you may receive a penalty.
This year HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) have introduced a new quality standard for P11Ds that are submitted on paper, setting out how you must complete the form and what information you must include. The new standard for paper forms mirrors one that has applied for some time to P11Ds that are filed online. For more details follow the link at the bottom of the page.
HMRC will reject P11Ds that don't meet its quality standards. For paper forms, this means that the form will be returned to you and you'll need to correct it and re-send it. For online submissions, it means you'll need to correct any problems before being able to file successfully.
