SA Online customers, and agents authorised to act for them, can now change contact details online

From 6 February 2008, Trusts, Partnerships, Individuals and agents authorised to act for them online, will be able to use the links within the ‘About your organisation’, ‘About you’ or ‘About your client’ pages.

Trusts and their authorised agents can

  • change their main, communication and trade address
  • change the capacitor address (when a user has someone acting in capacity for them)
  • change their main contact details (day, evening and mobile telephone numbers, fax number and email address)
  • submit a claim for repayment
  • submit a request to reduce payments on account.

Trusts only can

  • add, change or remove an authorised agent.

Partnerships and their authorised agents can

  • change their main, communication and trade address
  • change main contact details (day, evening and mobile telephone numbers, fax number and email address).

Partnerships only can

  • add, change or remove an authorised agent.

Agents acting for SA individuals can

  • change their client’s name and main address
  • change their client’s contact details (day, evening and mobile telephone numbers, fax number and email address)
  • submit a claim for repayment for their client
  • submit a request to reduce their client’s payments on account
  • change their client’s capacitor name and address
  • change and delete their client’s communication address.

SA individuals, in addition to the facilities already available, can

  • add, change or remove an authorised agent.

To use these services, login using your User ID and Password and select ‘About your organisation/you/client from your SA Online service page. If you are not already registered to use the SA Online service, you can register now. You must allow enough time for you to receive your Activation PIN - this may take up to 7 days to arrive.

Using HMRC Online Services is secure. Any changes you make will update HMRC records within 48 hours - although this may take longer over a weekend or Bank Holiday

Note for users of Internet Explorer 7 (IE7) - the functionality enabling you to amend your details has not yet been optimised to run under IE7. As a result, the web pages may not present correctly. However, despite the way the pages may look these facilities do function correctly. Please do not contact us regarding this problem as we will be optimising the product for IE7 users in the near future.
