PAYE Online customers and their agents can now change contact details online

From 6 February 2008, employers, and agents authorised to act for them, will be able to use the links within the 'About your organisation' or 'About your client' pages to:

  • change the employer' business address
  • change the employer' main contact details (telephone, fax number and email address)
  • add, change or remove the employer' trade name
  • add or change the employer' communication name
  • add or change the employer' communication address
  • change the employer' communication contact details (where communication name and address is already held)
  • remove all the employer' communication details (name, address and contact details).

To use these services, login using your User ID and Password and select 'About your organisation/client' from your PAYE Online service page. If you are not already registered to use the PAYE Online service, you can register for the service now. You must allow enough time for you to receive your Activation PIN - this may take up to 7 days to arrive.

Using HMRC Online Services is secure. Any changes you make will update HMRC records within 48 hours - although this may take longer over a weekend or Bank Holiday.

Note for users of Internet Explorer 7 (IE7) - the functionality enabling you to amend your details has not yet been optimised to run under IE7. As a result, the web pages may not present correctly. However, despite the way the pages may look these facilities do function correctly. Please do not contact us regarding this problem as we will be optimising the product for IE7 users in the near future.
