Contracted out National Insurance contributions

National Insurance contributions that are Contracted out of State Earnings Related Pension Scheme are now dealt with by the National Insurance Services to the Pension Industry (NISPI).

NISPI deals with occupational pension schemes and Appropriate personal pension schemes that are Contracted-out of the state additional pension (AP). So if you a person is Contracted-out they are not contributing to the state AP but instead will be paid a pension from their employer or scheme.
