Email alerts for online PAYE notifications

Our secure notification system has changed. To get an email prompt telling you that there are online notices and reminders for you to view, just tell us to which email address you want your prompt to go to. You need to give us your email address again even if you gave it to us when you registered, or got email alerts in 2005-06.

Secure online notices and reminders are:

• tax-free payment notifications for online filing
• coding notices and student loan notices (if you have selected this option)
• other reminder notices, such as P35N.

To give us your email address:

• go to the HM Revenue and Customs Home Page
• select 'PAYE for employers' from the 'do it online' menu
• enter your Password and User ID
• select 'provide us with an email address'.

Authorised agents using our PAYE Online for Agents service can view client notices issued in the last seven days by selecting ‘View your clients who have received notices’ from the PAYE Online service page.
