CASC consultation meetings - update

HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) is consulting on proposals to amend the qualifying conditions for Community Amateur Sports Clubs (CASC's). The aim of the proposals is to make the rules clearer for clubs and HMRC to apply. Follow the link below to view the consultation document 'Community amateur sports clubs (CASC) scheme'.

The consultation began on 3 June 2013 and will close on 12 August 2013.

HMRC (CASC consultation team) would like to hear your views and suggestions on the proposed changes and is holding public meetings on the following dates:

Meeting one

Date: 16 July 2013
Time: 12:00pm to 2:00pm
Venue: 100 Parliament Street, London, SW1A 2BQ

Meeting two - for National Governing Bodies and similar organisations only

Date: 16 July 2013
Time: 4:00pm to 5.30pm
Venue: 100 Parliament Street, London, SW1A 2BQ

Meeting three

Date: 5 August 2013
Time: 3:00pm to 5:00pm
Venue: 100 Parliament Street, London, SW1A 2BQ

Places are limited and will be allocated on a first come, first served basis. If HMRC receive more interest than places available, HMRC will arrange more meetings on alternative dates.
