In October 2010, HM Revenue and Customs (HMRC) carried out a review of the Money Service Business (MSB) register to find out how easy it is to use and whether it is useful or not.
A questionnaire was emailed to external stakeholders for their views.
Responses to the questionnaire confirmed that the MSB register helps businesses to check if an MSB is registered with HMRC for Money Laundering Regulations and that the MSB register meets the needs of external stakeholders.
