HM Revenue & Customs (HMRC) has commissioned research by an externally approved company to allow them to better understand Money Laundering Regulations customers. This research will help determine how best HMRC can ensure business compliance with the regulations at the lowest possible cost for both HMRC and businesses.
If you are registered with HMRC under the regulations you may be telephoned by the research company (Quadrangle Research). They will then ask you to take part in a brief telephone survey. Customers are not obliged to take part in the survey, however, your support and co-operation would be appreciated. This survey is completely confidential and your information will not be shared with anyone else. The survey will take place between March and April 2011 and not ask for personal details such as bank accounts.
If you wish to check that the call you get from a researcher is genuine contact the Money Laundering Regulations Helpline.
