How to claim or get more information

People who think they might be entitled to CTC or WTC or both, can go online at www.hmrc.gov.uk/taxcredits to check their eligibility. If they find they are entitled to tax credits they should make a claim immediately. To request a claim form or for further advice they can ring the Tax Credits Helpline (open every day from 8.00 a.m. to 8.00 p.m., except Christmas, Boxing and New Year’s Days and Easter Sunday) on the following numbers:

Alternatively, people may visit any HM Revenue & Customs Enquiry Centre or Jobcentre Plus Office if they want help to complete their claim.
