SW06180 - Create a Room: Locking and Unlocking the Room Home Page

Business Authorising Officers (BAOs) must ensure that the Front page of the Room is Read-Only. This allows the BAO to maintain the original design of the Room.

By doing so the BAO can:

  • Control the Front Page content;
  • Keep the Room easy to navigate and use;
  • Make sure that the purpose is adhered to.

The following easy steps describe how to make the front page Read-Only.

  1. Select the yellow edit pencil next to the Room name on the front Page of the Room.
  2. <insert image: “Lock Front Page Image 1”>
  3. Select Options
  4. <insert image: “Lock Front Page Image 2”>
  5. In the Access Control section select the read only box and select ‘OK’.
  6. <insert image: “Lock Front Page Image 3”>
  7. If at a later stage the Front Page needs to be changed the BAO must unlock it by removing the tick.
