SW04100 - Roles and Responsibilities: Introduction to Roles and Responsibilities

Shared Workspace controls access and administration privileges by assigning each Member with a Role. Each Role enables Members to carry out administration responsibilities specific to that Role.

The Shared Workspace Roles are

• HMRC Business Authorising Officer SW04200
• HMRC Member SW04300
• HMRC Shared Workspace Team SW04400
• Customer Organisation Representative SW04500
• Customer Nominated Contact SW04600
• Customer Member SW04700

Note: Additional controls are provided through the use of Member Roles SW05610 and Access Controls SW07410. The combination of Shared Workspace Role, Member Role and Access Controls determines exactly what each Member can access and how they can use the service.
