There are ten chapters.

The first five chapters outline the schemes for

• Statutory Sick Pay (SSP),
• Statutory Maternity Pay (SMP),
• Ordinary Statutory Paternity Pay (OSPP)
• Additional Statutory Paternity Pay (ASPP) and
• Statutory Adoption Pay (SAP).

The other chapters cover subjects which are common to statutory payments.
