Evidence required for SPP birth, adoption and adoption from abroad are listed below. Employers are not entitled to ask for official documents such as the MATB1, Matching Certificate or Official Notification but the caseworker and Nominated Officer may do so if it is necessary to clear a dispute.

- work for liable employer during PPP,

SPP Adoption
- date of notification of matching

SPP Adoption from abroad
- date of Official Notification of suitability to adopt
- self-certification form SC6
- employment issues, as above
- work for liable employer up to date child enters the UK
- earnings
