Who can be asked to provide medical evidence

If the employee agrees, Medical Services can:

• obtain a report from an employee’s GP or hospital consultant,
• arrange for an employee to be examined by one of their own doctors
• assess the existing medical evidence and give an opinion on the extent of incapacity
• use existing medical evidence to give an opinion on whether or not incapacity is pregnancy related.
