Medical Services provide independent medical opinion and advice
to DWP. HMRC use these provisions for medical queries and disputes
which arise in the operation of the SSP and SMP schemes.

The Medical Support Services (MSS) provide medical opinion and
advice to the Social Security Agency (SSA)
The services of MSS are provided to HMRC under the Service
Level Agreement (SLA) between HMRC and SSA.
