SPM11020 - Statutory Sick Pay (SSP) - Record Keeping: SSP2 - record sheet

Form SSP2 records all the compulsory information needed to operate the SSP scheme. To help small business it is held on the Employer CD-ROM and from April 2011 the Basic PAYE Tools or can be issued to employers on request from the Orderline on 08457646646.

It is not compulsory therefore employers do not have to use it but must keep the equivalent records and be able to produce evidence that they are operating the scheme correctly.
