For applications

- for both pre-transaction rulings and post-transaction rulings see SDLTM51000
These applications should be sent to your local Stamp Office for
onward submission to the appropriate specialist unit.
All Stamp Offices should keep a record of where and when the
applications were sent. Receipt at the Stamp Office should be
acknowledged and the purchaser/agent should be advised of the
progress of their enquiry.
Straightforward requests should be directed in the first
instance to the Help Line on 0845 603 0135.
The purchaser/agent should be informed which office the
correspondence has been sent to on a form SDLT7.
