SAM127050 - Returns: returns processed at HMRC Netherton: HMRC Netherton: returns for earlier years

A Short Tax Return (SA200) can only be captured using Automated Data Capture (ADC) if it is for the latest return year (CY-1). For example, in the period 6 April 2009 until 5 April 2010 the only returns that can be captured using ADC are those for the year 2008-09.

Returns received for years earlier than the latest return year must be logged then forwarded to the appropriate office with processing responsibility for manual capture.
