New Work Lists

From 21 November 2005, four new work lists replaced the ‘Returns Review’ work list. The names of some of the work items which appeared on the ‘Returns Review’ work list changed and some were removed. There is no change in the action required to clear work items on the new work lists from that needed to clear entries on the ‘Returns Review’ work list.

The new work lists are

• ‘Daily Returns Review - Ceased Date Set’
• ‘Daily Returns Review - Failed Coding Integrity’. Note: In April 2010, this work list was renamed ‘Daily Returns Review - SA/PAYE auto-coding exceptions’
• ‘Daily Returns Review - Electronic Return Cases’
• ‘Weekly Returns Review’

Remaining work items

Any existing items on the ‘Returns Review’ work list at 21 November 2005 remained on that work list to be cleared. Further details regarding the action required to clear these remaining items are available as follows

Obsolete Work List items

The following work items previously listed on the ‘Returns Review’ work list have become obsolete

• ‘Underpayment Coding’
• ‘ELS Carry Back Claim’
• ‘New Pension Source’

Any work items under these headings on the ‘Returns Review’ Work List were automatically deleted from the computer system.
