• The original date of the payment

• Unallocated payments on SA do not generally attract RPS

However, a payment shown as ‘unallocated’ may have previously been allocated to a charge, other than interest, that was subsequently amended and consequently created an overpayment.

If no further charges are outstanding this overpayment will appear as unallocated on the record but will still attract RPS as it has previously been allocated to a charge that became overpaid.
