Reportable event ceases to exist from 6 April 2008

A transfer lump sum death benefit payment has been removed from the list of authorised payments. If any payments are made on or after 6 April 2008 which would have satisfied the former description of a transfer lump sum death benefit, they will be unauthorised payments. Unauthorised payments are reportable under Event no 1 (see RPSM12301030).

Reportable event - for the 2006/07 and 2007/08 Event Reports only

One or more transfer lump sum death benefit payments are made during the reporting year.

Information required- for the 2006/07 and 2007/08 Event Reports only

The number of transfer lump sum death benefit payments made during the reporting year falling within each of the following monetary bands

• £1 - £50,000
• £50,001 - £100,000
• £100,001 - £250,000
• £250,001 - £500,000
• more than £500,000.
