Can a member or employer transact with their own registered pension scheme?

It is permitted for the member, employer or person connected to the member or employer to enter into a transaction with his or her pension scheme. Any such transaction must be carried out on an arms-length commercial basis. Failure to do so will result in an unauthorised payments charge on the member or the employer.
