RPSM07200020 - Member Pages: Investments: What can a registered pension scheme invest in?
What types of investments can my pension scheme hold?
There are no restrictions in the tax rules on the type of investments that a registered pension scheme can make provided that they are made for commercial reasons. The scheme administrator/trustees would have to be prepared to make the investment, even where the scheme rules allow the member to direct how the scheme invests the fund.
