Schemes unaffected by the provisions

A registered pension scheme will not be affected by these provisions if it meets one of the following criteria.

• It is not an investment regulated pension scheme. See RPSM07109050.
• It is an investment regulated pension scheme but it does not invest in or hold taxable property.

It is an investment regulated pension that invests in taxable property but it only does so indirectly via one or more genuinely diverse commercial vehicles. See RPSM07109420 to RPSM07109460.
