RG6.9 Particular occupations - North Sea and other offshore oil/gas fields
If an individual is working in a UK designated area of the Continental Shelf [See SE67100 onwards EP8223]
- for a UK employer and the individual is not resident in the UK
- refer all cases to CAR Residency (Residence & Domicile Technical Team) Bootle.
- for a foreign employer and has a UK occupational pension
- refer to CAR Residency (Residence & Domicile Technical Team) Bootle.
- for a foreign employer and does not have a UK occupational pension
- refer to Centre 1, Foreign group (see EP9334).
