PSI22.2.14 - Operational Procedures: Clerical Procedures - Recalled Files - CORA

(This archived guidance relates to HMRC discretionary practice before the 6th April 2006. For current guidance on Registered Pension Schemes see the Registered Pension Schemes Manual)

When booking a recalled file on to an Examiner after attaching post, the CORA screen may advise the following:

  1. AVR reminder - this should not be deleted;
  2. Definitive Documentation reminder - this should not be deleted unless the relevant PS5 or Rules have been received;
  3. Long Term BF - this can be deleted.

The CORA screen will then indicate "unattached correspondence". This can be deleted if there is post to be attached.

A further indicator means that there is more than one item of post, in which case this should be dealt with in accordance with PSI22.2.13 and then deleted from the screen.

Further details on CORA processes are contained in PSI22.4.xx
